a- This magazine is cheaper thanthe one I bought.

b- This actress is less beautiful than Emma Watson.

c-That football player is worse than Harry Kane.

d- He is as good as Johnny Sexton at scoring points.

infériorité ==> less + adjectif + than

égalité ==> as + adjectif + as

supériorité (un peu plus complexe)

adjectif long =>more + adj. + than

adjectif court ==> adjectif + -er + than

si l'adjectif se termine en -y =>-ier (funny = funnier)

si l'adjectif se termine par consonne/voyelle/ consonne, on double la dernière lettre (big = bigger / thin = thinner /

ces règles concernant les adjectifs courts se retrouvent pour le superlatif....

Exceptions  (adjectif / comparatif / superlatif)

good = better / the  best

bad = worse / the worst

far = farther / the farthest

infériorité  => the least + adjectif

supériorité =>

adjectifs longs => the most + adjectif

adjectifs courts => the + adjectif + -est

en -y = + -iest

consonne / voyelle / consonne = doublement  de la dernière consonne tout comme au comparatif => big = the biggest / fat = the fattest .....
