read the following in the third person singular. Do not change the object if it is plural. Note that after certain consonants a final es is pronounced as a separate syllable.

    RAPPEL

    À la 3e pers. sing. on ajoute -s  à la fin du verbe.

    She makes,  he sings, it helps

    Si le verbe se termine par un -o, -sh, -ch .... ce sera -es

    she does, he watches, she washes

    Si le verbe se termine par une consonne + -y => ce sera -ies

    she carries

    he worries

    mais he enjoys (voyelle + -y)
